The Retail Value of this daylily is $75 (Rold 2022) 24″ Scapes, 4.25″ Blooms, Early Early, Dormant, Diploid, 26 Buds, 4 Branches The inky dark scapes emerge with red-violet bracts in early June in zone 6a and so are a delight even before it blooms. By bloom time, the bracts fade to lavender add to the attraction. Blooms are held on scapes with 2 lateral branches and a terminal Y. Buds begin to open at sunset. It has been an important parent for pigmented scapes. Fertile both ways.Parentage: (From Darkness Comes Light x Stella’s Ruffled Fingers) This plant was donated by Nancy Rold.
